What is the same on every exchange
Whatever the platform, a frozen account almost always comes down to one of six things: an automated AML risk alert, a source-of-funds request, a P2P dispute or chargeback, a sanctions or restricted-region match, a KYC problem, or a terms-of-use issue. Learn how to tell which one is yours.
On every exchange the same rules also apply to you:
- Answer only through the exchange's official support channel — never through people who contact you on social media.
- Send one complete, consistent answer instead of many partial messages.
- Do not open a new account or move funds through other people's accounts while under review.
- Never share your password, 2FA codes or seed phrase with anyone who offers to help.
